Sub-District/Diocesan Dashboard
It would be helpful for school systems that host multiple schools, to have one dashboard that contained the data, exports, Validation Messages, etc., for all schools at a glance. An example of this would be a WI Diocese that hosts several schools across the State. These school systems often use a sub-district configuration in their setup.
To have one diocesan dashboard that contains all schools at a glance would be very helpful.4 votes -
Mass Add Tags
AASD loves the ability to apply department tags to errors and warnings! One person monitors the entire database and each department just filters the tags to narrow the list to just those they need to look at. It would be nice if we had the ability to mass assign tags. I was thinking maybe a way to check boxes next to specific errors/warnings (or select all) and then an option pops up as to which tag to use.

Create combined Discipline export that includes Incidents and Actions
Feedback from the WISEdata Conference 2019 - Using WISEdata and WISEdash for Snapshot Preparation session - March 20, 2019
Currently it's difficult to cross reference the Incident and Action exports, so create a combined export to facilitate review.

Error 6766
Submitted on behalf of Kathryn Halpern/Delavan-Darien:
This is a suggestion: When I export the Validation Messages, specifically to identify Error Code 6766, it does not pull the Local Course Code, the unique section code, or the Term so this export cannot be used; it's basically useless as there is NO unique data. I have 209 of these to address.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Accountable School Should Match Enrollment Dates for the School
When running the All Enrollment report, the Current Accountable School only includes the current school for all enrollments. Since the CDEB is a placement option, there may be multiple enrollments for a student if the student moved to a new district that is still services by CDEB. Could the report be updated to include the Accountable School for the enrollment period on the report?

multiple languages for native and primary language field
Is it possible to submit more than one language for native or primary language? Many of our students are simultaneous learners or our refugees come in with multiple languages.

School Roster Details - Sort Roster Alpha
On the School Roster Details page, it would be nice to be able to be able to sort the students listed on the roster by last name (or any column). In our SIS, the rosters show up in Alpha order by last name, so it would be a lot easier to compare.

Create vendor specific help for each L2 validation
Feedback from the WISEdata Conference 2019 - Data Submission Best Practices - March 20, 2019
High priority feedback item from the session.
Users would like to see vendor specific help added to each L2 validation Knowledge Base Article (KBA).

Contact Info editing added to WISEsupport role
Allow WISEsupport user role to edit the contact information in WISEdata. Some phone numbers are wrong and it would be nice for support members to be able to edit them as we come across them while talking to districts.

WISEID Separate Fields for Legal Name and Preferred Name
WiseID really needs to have a place for legal name/gender from a birth certificate and then preferred name/gender for a student. This needs to be 2 different fields. The change requests and comments are getting super confusing because not all districts are submitting data the same way.
2 votesWe plan on changing the Change Request process later in the fall so that first name, middle name, birth date changes have the originating district verify their district-accepted documentation. Once the documentation is verified the Change Request will no longer need to go to review by other districts. This should resolve the Change Request-related concerns you have. Currently some vendors do have the ability to collect both legal name/gender AND preferred name. Then have an option in your district system to choose which will be sent to DPI in WISEid/WISEdata. Check with your vendor documentation or support to see if you have them already.

Student Demographics Export - Enrollment Status
Good morning! Is it possible on the Student Demographics export to add a field that indicates whether the student's enrollment is ACTIVE or INACTIVE as of the date the export is pulled? If not, we can just cross-check, but it would be helpful. Thanks!

Grade Level added to Roster reports
Please add a grade level field to various reports. Today I am specifically talking about the Roster Sections - Grades/Marks, but am willing to bet this field would be helpful in many other downloadable reports.

Create an optional WISEdata Portal Notification system (similar to WISEid/WISEstaff)
Feedback from the WISEdata Conference 2019 - Data Submission Best Practices - March 20, 2019
High priority feedback from this session.
Conference session attendees would like to be notified when there are new validation messages to address in the WISEdata Portal. The system should not be mandatory though, districts would like the ability to opt out. In addition, users wants to choose whether they receive notifications for the entire district or just a specific school.

Create a way for districts to share their Data Quality Best Practices with each other
Feedback from the WISEdata Conference 2019 - Data Submission Best Practices - March 20, 2019
Data Quality Best Practice artifacts that could be shared include: checklists, meeting agendas, workflows, etc. Not mentioned at the session, but perhaps a model similar to WISElearn could be utilized.

Change Snapshot Date for Roster and CTE
The Roster and CTE Snapshots should not be taken the same time as all the other snapshots in December. With all the the current snapshots being collected in December adding 2 more is way too much data to try and manage at one time.

Add specific error codes for the 5 scenarios of #7139
With error #7139, Invalid Educational Environment Setting based on student age and grade level for the effective period of the special education record. This error can throw in 5 different scenarios, so read the detail in the error 'Long Text' carefully and/or click the KBA article link for more information, could you please split that out into five different errors? It takes a LOT of time to look up five different scenarios for each student. This would save us a lot of time! Thank you!

Add Domain and/or Error code to Email Notification for Messages
Enhancement request for WISEdata Messages: When districts receive a message from another district regarding a student error or warning in WISEdata, we receive a pretty generic email notification that does not include any information to let the primary and secondary contacts for the district know what 'area' the message is in regards to. When the email notification comes through on a message, can it include the domain area and/or error code for the student? This would help with workflow efficiency when there are multiple district staff working with student data to know if the message is in their area (spec…

Error 6385 exclude R-HOME and R-PRIV students
Error 6385 "TFS receiving services is (Present or Absent) and either enrollment type = (Coursework) OR enrollment period doesn't include TFS." should have the logic updated to exclude students who are coded with pupil count categories R-HOME or R-PRIV since we need to report this value for these students in order for the records to stage in WiSFiP. I understand I can tag it "unresolvable", which I have been, but it is difficult to just live with these as errors all year when they are in fact, not an error.
