    We plan on changing the Change Request process later in the fall so that first name, middle name, birth date changes have the originating district verify their district-accepted documentation. Once the documentation is verified the Change Request will no longer need to go to review by other districts. This should resolve the Change Request-related concerns you have. Currently some vendors do have the ability to collect both legal name/gender AND preferred name. Then have an option in your district system to choose which will be sent to DPI in WISEid/WISEdata. Check with your vendor documentation or support to see if you have them already.
