Error 6374 to be a Warning instead
Error 6723 Begin Date of the special education record cannot precede the effective begin date of the corresponding enrollment. The Long Text under this error indicates the date will be adjusted to align with the start date. If that happens automatically, why can't this be a warning we acknowledge, rather than an error to be corrected?

Student Characteristics for Prior Enrollments
It would be great if we could see the student characteristics that were submitted by their previous school (especially for mid-year transfers). Once our district starts sending info through Ed-Fi, that is what shows up in WISEdata, so we don't know what the previous school reported. This is helpful to know if the student was ELL, EEN, etc. in the previous district - especially if the previous district is slow to send student records or if a student was a WI student, moved out of state, and then moved back to WI to another district.

Errors show in vendor Pipeline status
Troubleshooting potential L1 errors in data received from our SIS vendor yields multiple "errors" for former students. This error refers to KBA 100026, which states this is not really an error, so ignore it. Can these somehow be eliminated? The danger is that I see multiple errors, but I may not look carefully at them because they're all of this type.

6601
It would be nice to see all sSEPA records for 3 years on one screen to clear up 6601 and missed sSEPA's

Switch year in students' details
Can we be in a student and switch between years. Currently, we have to go back to Student Search and change the year. It would be handy to change the year within the students' details.

Log out functionality
In the Ed-Fi credential application - when you go to log out it would be AWESOME to have an option to go to Secure Home like I can in the other applications!

Demographic Assessment
I would like to see a collection called: Demographic Assessment under the Data Quality Indicators and Exports so we know exactly what data is being collected and what our counts are for that collection - similar to other snapshot collections.

Btton to confirm "validation" request
Add a required button to confirm "queue validation" requests. I just clicked on the "Queue validation" tab by mistake and was unable to undo my request for a validation.
I don't want my mistakes to slow down other district requests for validations to run because my "mistaken" request for validation is taking up valuable space in the queue.
1 voteLet me know if this is still of concern. We haven’t had this reported by other users, but it could be an issue. Thanks! John.

Accountable School Should Match Enrollment Dates for the School
When running the All Enrollment report, the Current Accountable School only includes the current school for all enrollments. Since the CDEB is a placement option, there may be multiple enrollments for a student if the student moved to a new district that is still services by CDEB. Could the report be updated to include the Accountable School for the enrollment period on the report?

Data check/error message for Choice students that are not marked as such in the SIS/Ed-Fi
We cleaned up our data for the March 11th snapshot and to make sure we were ready for ACT to pull our data for the Choice testing...however, we just found out that the Choice students were not getting sent to the state as Choice students (missed one checkbox in our SIS), so we are now scrambling to get this rectified for testing. Would be nice to compare whom the state has listed as Choice and what is in Ed-Fi and then give us an error report, if applicable.

Error requrest
Is there a way that an error can be posted if a student is being reported in Special Programs in our SIS but not counting for Oct 1st in the wisedata portal? For instance we had a student that has a special program but when we check the child count export from the wiseportal the student is not reporting and states SWOD. We think this has something to do with our dates, but yet we have no error and would not have know about this student unless we double checked SIS export to Wiseprotal export.
10 votesLet me know if you think a new L2 would still be useful. This could be based on primary enrollment spanning Oct 1 and the presence of an SSEPA SPED record spanning that same period and Child Count for Oct 1 = false. It could be false for a variety of reasons but those are clear within the Student Detail.

WISEdata Portal - Security by School
Create security for WISEdata similar to all other DPI applications, where rights can be assigned to a user for a specific school, not only district wide.

Ideas from Madison
From Madison:
- DPI program ignores enrollment start dates and end dates that are in the future. Just don't add them to the wise data system
- Ethnicity changes between districts all the time. Have that be a warning not an error.
Need to be able to delete enrollments that are an error or something. Once they are deleted from IC, some are not delete in the DPI site. I have a lot
Getting this error:
Credential type is not expected when the exit type does not equal HSC, High School Completion. For Private Schools, the studentAcademicRecord should be submitted only for…

Drill into Data Metrics for student names (similar to WISEdash)
It would be helpful to be able to drill into the actual graph data, similar to the WISEdash portal, to see the students pulling for specific areas - rather than having to export the file and sort/filter data every time we need to verify our numbers.

- Running the validation on day 2 resulted resulted in: a. X errors from day 1 being resolved (detail) b. Y errors from day 2 still outstanding (detail) c. Z errors new (detail).
