  1. Special Characters in names

    Allow for special characters in names. Example: Téa. Váquéz, Garciá, Zöe, Eleña, etc.

  2. Search by either last or first name and birthdate

    I used to find it helpful to search a student by their first name and birthdate only to make sure I am looking at all possibilities for a match. For example. if a student has two last names and I don't enter them in the right order. Or if a parent enrolls their student with a non-legal last name. We just had our Human Resources person discover that she requested new WISEids for young staff members because she didn't know their former last names. At least if you have a match on first name and birthdate, you could check further…

  3. I suggest the WISEid system lists "Comments" chronologically, with the most recent comment, at the top of the list instead of the bottom.

    It is natural for our eyes to go to the top of the list looking for the most recent event. I feel that anywhere there is a list that includes dates, the newest item should be listed first.
