List ALL disability codes instead of just primary
It would be great to have a report that shows all disabilities, primary, secondary etc. As far as I know now we have to look at every child with multiple disabilities by hand to be sure they are all included.
10 votesThis is in production. Closing. Thanks! John.

Data Quality / Validation Result Doughnuts
When viewing the Data Quality & Validation Results page . . . suggestion - keep the warnings out of the Student Error Rate doughnut. Warnings should be tracked in the warning doghnut and the errors should be tracked in the errors doughnut.
When you combine acknowledge warnings in the Error doughnut . . . it is very confusing and it shows false information.
Thank you for your consideration.
6 votesWe have removed the donut charts and replaced with % of Students with Errors or Unacknowledged Warnings.

Discipline errors: include common identifier on each main screen
Discipline Errors: On the main error message screen, the Action ID is listed for a student. When you select the DETAIL and get switched to the next screen, the Incident Identifiers are listed. We have to look at each Incident Identifier to find the Action ID that is listed as an error on the previous screen. Is it possible to include either the Incident Identifier on the first screen, or the Action ID on the 2nd screen? Some students have multiple records and it is time consuming to figure out which record is in error.
3 votesThis will release with our 2/13/18 release.

3rd Fri-Oct 1: errors vs. warnings
Error codes 6381 (3rd Fri Count missing) and 6601 (Oct 1 CC missing): These errors should be just 'warnings' until after the dates of these counts. For example: the 6601 error will occur until after the Oct 1 CC has happened...this would mean all our sped students will error out until after Oct 1. Once the date has passed (ie. on Oct 2), these should be considered 'errors'.
6 votesWe have modified these to not run until 3 months after July 1st (start of DPI calendar year). So the first time a 3rd Fri or Oct 1 would appear would be Oct 1. We can configure the rules this way after an enhancement over the Summer.

Student Detail Screen after search show all enrollments
When completing a Student Detail Search and opening a student detail screen, I would like to see all enrollments for the student, not just the year that I am filtered to.
4 votesThis feature was released in October. In Student Detail > Enrollments panel, you can see a link at the bottom now indicating ‘Prior Year Enrollments’

School Year Filter include school year start and end year
On the School Year Filter can you include the beginning and ending year. It is confusing to know if 2017 is 2016-17 or 2017-18.

Add Local Use Comments to Validation Messages
Add the Ability to Keep Comments on validation messages so that Schools can keep tabs on gathered information needed for correction process other then in printouts or separate documents that are out of date in the next ten minutes. Inter-District validations allow comments to be shared with other schools that are receiving the same message
10 votesThis is the Work In Process bookmark now in place inside of the WISEdata Portal. At this time we won’t store comments but it will identify the user working on the item.

Show school name instead of district name on sped validation messages
On special ed errors, we would like to request that the actual school name is listed under the school column on the validation messages instead of the district. This will allow our non-instrumentality charter schools to identify their errors more efficiently.
8 votesFor 17/18 we began requiring vendors to pass School id on SPED records for so 17/18 this is resolved. For 16/17 you’ll see errors without school because it wasn’t required.

Clear Infos after validation
Since the magic Zero is the goal most of us are working to see, could the Informational Count be cleared after a validation is run? This was a feature in ISES that kept us just a little bit saner. :-)
Thanks
7 votesCount inclusion Info messages no longer exist (instead there are indicators on Student Detail and other report

Larger spreadsheets
I'm trying to export attendance data for September 3rd Friday 2015-16 for the entire district. The display limits to show only the 1st 10,000 records. How do I export the data for all 70,000+ students? I need the full amount and having to break into smaller groupings is problematic. HSC only allows for 5000 lines.

Milwaukee Public Schools3 votesMaria, this is an older entry, but noticed it out here. You have to utilize the school type and or specific school filter to narrow down the result set. I’m guessing you are past solving this but wanted to not just close it. Thanks, John

Ethnicity Errors
Would be great if ethnicity differences between schools could be a warning NOT an error. This can change from school to school for various reasons. Thank you.
16 votesThis is done and has been in productions since late Summer.

Remove acknowledged warnings
Can warnings be removed from the validation screen if already acknowledged or have it default to unacknowledged so we know what needs to be acknowledged yet?
3 votesIn our late September 2018 release, the default when you go into the Validation Message page is that you’ll see Errors and Unacknowledged Warnings. There will be new filters to see Acknowledged versus Unacknowledged, etc.

ERROR: 6589
Data Submitting Feedback:
With the Parentally Placed Private Indicator within the special program enrollment for each student, the drop down is "required-if placed". If you do not select Yes or No the error 6589 appears. The "required-if placed" is misleading as I thought that you select Yes or No if the student is Parentally Place Private not if the student has a special ed special program enrollment.5 votes -
