After submitting information/uploads it would be nice to run a validation to see results on demand instead of waiting for DPI.

Create option to export all the the validation messages.
There seems to be no easy way to export the errors and the corresponding students the errors are attached to. The ability to export this information would be helpful when trying to clean up errors. I've been expanding each error and using the "printkey" tool to print this out so I have something to work with.

Student Data Export - Mass Export and add data fields
I am suggesting that the student's enrollment/withdrawal dates be added to the "Data Export - Attendance and Enrollment" report. Currently it looks like the "Count Inclusion for 3rd fri sept" column is blank for students who either WD before the 3rd Friday, or enrolled after the 3rd Friday. But this makes it difficult to identify "problems". For example; I have 4 students who enrolled on the 1st day of school and were present on the 3rd friday count date, and who have a "blank" in the "Count Inclusion for 3rd Fri Sept" column. Switching between applications
Would be great to switch between applications easier. I work on WISEstaff, WISEid & in the WISEdata portal. Would be much appreciated if I didn't have to log into Secure Home each time.

Errors due to ethnicity/name changes
Not to generate an error when the transfer district enters a different ethnicity or hyphenates last names. A warning that we could acknowledge seems more appropriate.

DPI should have a schedule for districts with all the reports listed and their due dates so districts can manage their workload more effectively. If it was like Sapphire where certain reports are in red and green so one knows when the deadlines are coming up etc…. then that would be great. Even having a pdf out there for districts would be very helpful where it is a one stop for all reports and the deadlines.

I put two key Alerts in WDP that provide links to the Snapshot page and another for the WISEdata Event Calendar. The alert expiration is the year 2099 so those should anchor there.

Child Count Export Include Disability Status
For the Child Count export, include a column with the student's disability status.

Create an additional user role for administrators (more of a read only type role) in WISEdata Portal

1. Acknowledge Warnins
2. Add or Remove bookmarks
3. Update data on the Expected Transfer screen -
Would love to see a timestamp on student data screen
Would love to see a timestamp on the student data screen of the last time the student data was changed/updated by a ed-fi transaction. This would be helpful in determining if the change we made in our SIS actually went through a validation. We make changes in the SIS trying different things to try to fix errors and are not sure always if that change was processed in time for the validation. Also would let us know if the particular change we made did not cause a ed-fi transaction.
18 votesThis will release on 2/13/18. You will see a create and modified date under Student, Student Enrollment, Special Education, Programs, Academic Record and Discipline. Create/Modified dates are also present when you click on the Ed-Fi API link within those same sections.

School Year Filter include school year start and end year
On the School Year Filter can you include the beginning and ending year. It is confusing to know if 2017 is 2016-17 or 2017-18.

Validation Message on Student Profile
From the validation messages, when you click on student details, have the validation message also appear on the student information screen. (Similar to ISES).

We will have a follow-up item to create the ability to pop out the errors to another window so you can scroll thru the Student Detail screen while still having all validation message for the student in view. No exact date for that final update, but goal would be Jan or Feb latest.

Ethnicity Errors
Would be great if ethnicity differences between schools could be a warning NOT an error. This can change from school to school for various reasons. Thank you.

Link to school we need to contact in WISEdata
When searching details in Enrollment History area it would be nice to have a link direct to the school we need to contact on that page. Click on the school name and receive primary contact information. Time saver for searching and correcting information. (Code 6375)

Change Errors Messages 6375 and 6468 to Warnings
Could both the future exit/enroll (Message Code 6468) as well as the overlap errors (Message code 6375) become warnings? It is good to double check our information but waiting on the other district can be time consuming.

Retain WISEdata Portal filters when fixing errors (e.g. School) when navigating between metric and validation message screen.

Add total counts to the collection metrics for the district
Please add totals to the Data Quality Indicators. Currently the district has to total each metric manually to get the total for the district for the collection.

List ALL disability codes instead of just primary
It would be great to have a report that shows all disabilities, primary, secondary etc. As far as I know now we have to look at every child with multiple disabilities by hand to be sure they are all included.

Add Local Use Comments to Validation Messages
Add the Ability to Keep Comments on validation messages so that Schools can keep tabs on gathered information needed for correction process other then in printouts or separate documents that are out of date in the next ten minutes. Inter-District validations allow comments to be shared with other schools that are receiving the same message
