DPI should create a new EXIT code for students Transferring to a school within the same district.
Please add an exit code for students transferring within the district instead of TC. This may help with the Match Review process when WISEid opens and would be easier for districts to track since our SIS uses the same codes and would follow DPI.
52 votesThanks to everyone on the feedback on this. We are discussing.. A lot of this is policy change more than tech, so I’ll have to await internal decision. Depending on decision, we would have to adjust the L2 validation etc. Thanks again for all the great input on this one. John.

Open Enrollment
Shorten the time period for open enrollment applicants to report to the nonresident school district prior to the Third Friday Count. Nonresident school districts, especially the virtual schools, need to get students in school at least one week prior to the September count and claim them, so they're getting an education and they aren't truant. If they can't get the students "in," this would give resident school districts an opportunity and time to get the student in school.

Homeschooling
Change the deadline date to apply for homeschool from October 15th to September 1st so students aren't potentially truant.

DPI assistance with Errata Letters
So that schools can track changes for potential data errata letters, DPI should provide:

Automatically notify District Wise contacts of new/revised collection requirements
Automatically notify by e-mail, or notice on Wise Portal, when there is a new data element that will be collected, or changes to current data element collectio n information.
Example I was just sent the link to the "Parent in Military: WISEdata " information on the DPI Wise by RCC. I had no idea this was out there.
It would be very helpful to be notified when additions are added to data elements.

We received another 'DPI Collection Snapshot Status ' email today from DPI. I would like to request that only 'Unacknowledged' Warnings be included on this report.

ACCESS Scores in WISEdata
Please alert districts via email on the date ACCESS scores have been loaded to student records in WISEdata so that districts can coordinate their data in the SIS side. Timely coordination helps avoid errors in validation.
Future published upload date on a DPI calendar would be helpful.

CRM Enhancement
Within CRM (as the ticket answerer) could you allow me to sort/search for closed tickets by the district? I don't pay close attention to ticket numbers so finding old tickets is VERY difficult if I don't have a new ticket from the district.
