What is your idea for improving WISEdash for Districts?

  1. Immigrant data available on WISEDASH

    Please add immigrant status to WISEDASH. I am able to find it in WISEDATA portal under characteristics but not in WISEDASH

    In spring 2024, we released the Immigrant dynamic cohort which is updated nightly. On most dashboards, you can find it under Filter Data > Student Cohort > Immigrants - Current Year (Public). You can also Use the Group by option under Filter Data to group by your selected Student Cohort.   2. Immigrant Data Element Added to Filter Data in WISEdash for DIstricts

    Hello! Can the demographic data element of "Immigrant" be added as an option to the blue Filter Data button when we navigate to Tools > Student Search?

  3. CTE Data Quality

    Can we please add cross tabs with the CTE Data with an option of full school data. I'd like to be able to compare the CTE numbers to potential availability of the entire school district. Example: If there are 3 black students as CTE Concentrators and only 4 in the entire district that would show better if we were actually serving the full population or not serving a population well enough. We are looking at 19-20 data, but I am unable to find school district information for the same year to be able to do the same comparison.

  4. TGO Filter Option

    Would it be possible to have a Target Group filter option? That way, we can follow those students (Those on the TGO list from the state) currently in our district in regards to achievement and growth on other assessments within WISE?

  5. Ability to export data from the data quality indicators in snapshot dashboards

    When using the snapshot dashboards, we would like a way to export data for the students that show up when you click an underlined number in the Data Quality Indicator boxes.

  6. Mask tool

    In WISEdash for District, can there be a mask tool on every screen? It is really difficult to setup mask presentation.

  7. Keep Colors the Same on Postsecondary Enrollment by Subgroup

    As I filter data by different "groups" the colors of enrolled/unenrolled change in the last two charts. Males/Females Blue = Enrolled; Race/Ethnicity Green = Enrolled.

  8. WISEdash for Districts User Guides

    I suggest we create a guide with questions and where in WISEdash to find the answers (i.e. which dashboard(s) provide what kind of information). I am thinking a guide for a Superintendent, one for a principal, one for a special ed. director, one for EL coordinator and one for a curriculum director.

    We have completed many guides since the release of 2.0 including specific guides for Admins/Principals, how to view CTE data, how to view EL data, etc. We are working with the Special Ed program area to create a How To guide for Special Ed as well. We would be happy to create additional documentation if a specific guide is requested.

  9. Add a snapshot dashboard to the student profile

    Provide one location to show snapshot data for an individual student.

  10. Continue FAFSA data past enrollment end

    Currently, FAFSA application status is only displayed for active students (not dis-enrolled). It would be helpful to continue to see this data for a period of time after the student dis-enrolls - perhaps through the summer months.

    This feature is now available in the current DIJ. However, we asked our vendor, if there is a way to clean it up a bit, because it becomes a very long document with lots of wasted space.

  13. Postsecondary Percentages

    Add a graph to show the proportion of a graduation class that went on to post secondary after graduation vs those that didnt.

  14. Consolidate all assessments into one dashboard in student profile

    Create an overall assessment dashboard in the student profile that summarizes all the assessments the student has taken.
