Let us know if there is still a desire for this feature. One of the issues is we still have to pull across all the data submitted from the SIS prior to validation. This could include other LEAs and therefore the queue line for validations exist. We did cut down on the number of validation jobs in a cycle by only triggering a single year of validations when you Queue Validation from the Validation Message page (it used to do all active years).

Thanks to everyone on the feedback on this. We are discussing.. A lot of this is policy change more than tech, so I’ll have to await internal decision. Depending on decision, we would have to adjust the L2 validation etc. Thanks again for all the great input on this one. John.

This is a great concept. Not sure how we would execute, but I see the need for it. We’ll think about some options from a tech standpoint. Thanks.

We do prompt for an Optional message during the Denial on the screen. We will poll users if we should require comment.

If you also have WISEdata Portal access we allow you to see the last two enrollments for a person in WISEid when you search for a person and expand the details for the results of a person. We also show the past 2 enrollments during the Match Review process to help determine if you have the correct person. Please let us know if the last two enrollments are enough for you in the comments. If you don’t have access to the WISEdata Portal please contact your district’s DSA to get access.

Attempts at trying to get this to work did not pan out, unfortunately. As of 10/5/17 will put on our list to reexamine if the latest development date tools can resolve this issue.

John - we DO exit the student and create a new enrollment record, the problem is that when the WISE system recognizes the student is now enrolled in another WI school, it kicks out the TOS withdrawal code and says it should be TC. We want to keep the TOS, or TNC, or INM code in place regardless of if the student returns to another WI school.
