In messages/notifications, create a "flag" (OAS uses an asterisk) for repeated notifications.
When the same notification keeps reappearing time after time, it would be nice to tag it so that time does not have to be wasted seeking answers to repeat info that was already submitted.

Name Change for Case Only
Can you eliminate name change requests when the only difference is a change in case? We're asked to approve a difference between an "old value" of SMITH and a "new value" of Smith. Unless case is important, it would be nice not to see those!
4 votesChecking into this. We fixed this back in Sept 2017. If its still happening its a bug we will get fixed.

Special Characters in names
Allow for special characters in names. Example: Téa. Váquéz, Garciá, Zöe, Eleña, etc.

Comment Character Limit
If Comments are limited to 250 characters, I wish it would not allow you to keep typing. It's hard to try to figure out how much you have to delete so it will fit. Thanks.

Last Enrollment Information History
In Last Enrollment Information, it was helpful to have the movement of the student all the years in school? Right now you can only see the Last Enrollment Information. It helps me as a Registrar, especially when the parents don't tell you all the schools the students have attended and trying to get records. It helps at the High School level with suspicious expulsions as well. The movements tell you things and seeing them is helpful.
2 votesThank you for the feedback. We at DPI understand the need to track enrollment. You are able to find enrollment history using the WISEdash for Districts tool. (Login to WISEdash for Districts is through Secure Home https://apps2.dpi.wi.gov/secure/home). The WISEdash for Districts tool now provides current enrollment information sent to WISEdata via your SIS, but be aware, however, some districts are still working to get 2016-17 enrollments reported through the WISEdata system.
DPI is still analyzing if and what enrollment information is appropriate to display within the WISEid application.
Hope this helps!

Requests to Approve or Deny
We just received an item that we are supposed to approve or deny. I don't understand how we could possibly make a decision on this. It is to approve or deny a last name change for a teacher who left our district in the summer of 2015. We have no way of knowing any information about her since she hasn't worked here for a year. Maybe there should be another choice to acknowledge this--like unknown? Thanks.
1 voteRight now not voting will result in an approval after 7 days. However, I can see your point that you might officially want to abstain from voting on the change request. We will get this in our list to review with our advisory group this month.

Error List from Results screen is cumbersome.
When looking at the errors returned from a file:
(1) the count is a count of persons with errors, not the error count; maybe this is ok, but it wasn't what I expected
(2) to view the errors I have to click on every single person which is very tedious if there are hundreds...

Attempts at trying to get this to work did not pan out, unfortunately. As of 10/5/17 will put on our list to reexamine if the latest development date tools can resolve this issue.

Cumbersome process to add multiple person names
The CSV upload allows only for one alternate name. As we are making this initial loads, we have several staff with multiple names. Our only options are to load multiple files to get all names or do some work by hand. We may decide to only enter the 2 names.

Updating a person should only be done by districts with a Local_Row_key Association
Changing (updating or editing) a persons Name, DOB, and Gender would only be editable by users from districts that have established a relationship with that person.
