In the Discipline Action Export, it would be great if the student NAME would be listed.3 votes
Looking at this. Good request.
Discipline Errors: On the main error message screen, the Action ID is listed for a student. When you select the DETAIL and get switched to the next screen, the Incident Identifiers are listed. We have to look at each Incident Identifier to find the Action ID that is listed as an error on the previous screen. Is it possible to include either the Incident Identifier on the first screen, or the Action ID on the 2nd screen? Some students have multiple records and it is time consuming to figure out which record is in error.3 votes
Good enhancement. I agree. Looking at how to do this.
Allow school districts to keep the correct withdrawal code (TOS) in their SIS for students that move out of state and return back to WI during the school year. By having to switch the TOS to a TC, our SIS data does not truly reflect the student's movement.29 votes
Question to the group, would the solution be to Exit the student as your are and create a new Enrollment record when they return? Is there any reason that isn’t the process? Just need feedback / input on that. Thanks! John.
Would love to see a timestamp on the student data screen of the last time the student data was changed/updated by a ed-fi transaction. This would be helpful in determining if the change we made in our SIS actually went through a validation. We make changes in the SIS trying different things to try to fix errors and are not sure always if that change was processed in time for the validation. Also would let us know if the particular change we made did not cause a ed-fi transaction.18 votes
Good enhancement. Will prioritize this to work on. Thanks.
It would be great to have the name of the specific field that is causing the error in addition to the error description. So, if we go into WISE, click on the error, click on details, if the field was starred or a different color, or SOME way of indicating what the issue is. The general error descriptions are too broad to be of help in some situations. Thanks!28 votes
This is a great concept. Not sure how we would execute, but I see the need for it. We’ll think about some options from a tech standpoint. Thanks.
I'm trying to export attendance data for September 3rd Friday 2015-16 for the entire district. The display limits to show only the 1st 10,000 records. How do I export the data for all 70,000+ students? I need the full amount and having to break into smaller groupings is problematic. HSC only allows for 5000 lines.

Please let me know if this is still an issue with the new Export page in place. You can filter by school now
When searching details in Enrollment History area it would be nice to have a link direct to the school we need to contact on that page. Click on the school name and receive primary contact information. Time saver for searching and correcting information. (Code 6375)16 votes

DPI should have a schedule for districts with all the reports listed and their due dates so districts can manage their workload more effectively. If it was like Sapphire where certain reports are in red and green so one knows when the deadlines are coming up etc…. then that would be great. Even having a pdf out there for districts would be very helpful where it is a one stop for all reports and the deadlines.25 votes
We are working on a new landing page when you log in to the WISEdata Portal. The core purpose is to provide you with a better status of your data from vendors and status of validation (make that as clear as possible), but adding a panel that outlines deadlines for snapshots, etc. wouldn’t be a major item to add. We already have an ALERTS panel in the WISEdata Portal, would an alert that always stays up with a link to the snapshot dates etc. solve the same issue. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for the input!
