Collect staff data continuously instead of using the Third Friday of September snapshot
Use a process similar to the way an HR system works with employment start and end dates. This way, once the staff data has been loaded to DPI, I can maintain the data throughout the year as staffing changes happen.
We have a few districts with interest. However, we have previously asked our advisory group and most especially large districts have said it would be too much work to do so for their systems. If we do we will probably need a way for those who don’t want to report with continues data. So this will be a large project we probably get to down the line, but it will involve a lot of work and planning to make everyone happy.
